Increased Lung Capacity in Interstitial Lung Disease Patient
A 41-year-old female presented in February 2018 with suffocating shortness of breath, chest tightness, copious coughing episodes, lung scarring and inflammation due to interstitial lung disease. The patient had been using 6 liters of oxygen per minute and 60mg of steroids with spirometer testing results showing as low as 500mL of lung capacity. The patient had a lung biopsy which created a hole that never healed. She suspects her situation was due to a history of exposure to diesel fumes along with mold and mouse turds. She had a severe lack of energy leading to an inability to exercise or much less stand up.

After evaluation, Ela put the patient on Soup A, Soup B, LC Balancer to provide necessary nutrients to enhance lung function. Clearlung was added to clear gram-positive bacteria and inflammation in her lungs and CL-3 was also included to address the possibility of fungus. After one month of products, the patient reported a spirometer testing result of 1250mL of lung capacity. CL-3 was dropped after the first month and the patient has been continuing the rest of the solutions untill June 2018.

The patient now reports reducing her oxygen dependency to 4 or 5 liters per minute. She is now regularly able to achieve 1250ml of lung capacity while feeling unrestricted and easier breathing. Due to the restrictive nature of her disease, she was previously incapable of yawning and now reported being able to yawn satisfyingly. The numerous episodes of coughing and mucus has cleared up for the first time without the use of prescription medications. She has reduced the usage of steroids down to 15mg. The patient is now enjoying her improved quality of life by being able to move about freely.
