Successful Treatment for Hepatitis C
The patient is a 59 year old female. Currently unemployed due to Hepatitis C and not needing to work financially. She has had Hep C for 30 yrs.

Her symptoms are fatigue, low stamina, gets tired easily, mental depression, headaches, enlarged spleen, gallstones, history of herpes infection, insomnia, excess appetite but eats poor quality food, grinding teeth, stuffy nose, cold hands and feet, nosebleeds, dry nose, mild sinus problems, abdominal spasms, leg swelling, easy bruising, muscle pain, stiffness, neck and shoulder pain, back pain, stress, frustration, poor memory, difficulty completing tasks, easily distracted, difficulty making decisions, confusion, attention deficit, body heaviness, and mood swings. She smokes. She has previously been employed as a chef, and has a degree in social work. She has GI reflux (past), allergies (current), anemia (past), cirrhosis of the liver, hepatitis C, genital Herpes, measles (past), Mumps (past), pneumonia (past). She reports poor drug metabolism. She hopes that with treatment she will be able to get back to work in a meaningful career. Was found to have a positive TB test in summer of 2012.

She has numerous dark brown skin lesions, all on the right (liver) side of her body. They look like large moles and are on all parts, including her face.

She complains of muscular pain in upper back, mid back, low back, upper arms, sides of neck, back of neck, occipital area, and flanks on ribcage under her arms.

Medications: She takes Ritalin to be able to get up in the morning. She takes tamazepan (a tricyclic antidepressant) to be able to sleep and then sleeps 10-12 hours per day. She also naps in the afternoon.

She has had two past treatments for Hep C. Interferon in 1997, and Interferon with Ribavirin in 2006.

She began acupuncture treatments Jan 17, 2012 and has come biweekly for 16 treatments as of 8-10-2012.

On February 21, 2012 she began taking Brown Juice and LC Balancer. After 1 week she said that she was feeling more energy. She has noted that her depression and anxiety is gone, she is more motivated to take care of things around her house. She is sleeping better. Her memory is improved, she finds decision-making easier, she has better attention, and no mood swings. She reports that she feels less itchy all over, and is less sensitive to extremes of heat and cold.

During the course of acupuncture treatments she has also noted the following: depression is vastly improved, less chilly in the evening, more stamina, not falling asleep in her chair in the evening. Eating better choices in food.

She has now been on Brown Juice and LCB for nearly 6 months.

She later added the Wei Gallbladder formula for gallstones. She did not report symptoms of gallstones on her intake form. She has taken two containers of the Gallbladder formula. She has not reported a change in symptoms of gallbladder disease recently.

She has also taken an iron supplement, Fe caps, from Intensive Nutrition Services in San Leandro CA. This is an iron supplement that contains B12, B6, Folic Acid. She also has taken Kelp pills which a doctor thought might help her thyroid.

She has also taken an immune system treatment developed by a doctor in Africa, Dr Hammed A. Ibrahim. It is called the Activated Immunity Procedure. It involves extracting and activating immune cells from whole venous blood. It is said to optimize hematopoietic, improving the function of the immune system and the ability of the Rocs to transport oxygen and nutrients.

She is planning to begin another interferon treatment, along with a ribavirin and a high potency antiviral, Incivic, to be done at the local university hospital for a year. This treatment began the week of August 22, 2012.
