A 65-year-old patient reached out to Dr. Fernandez after months of being bothered with upper back pain in the thoracic area and shoulder pain suspected to be linked to the upper back pain. No structural damage was detected. The patient reported pain levels on a daily basis ranging between 7-9 out of 10. The patient was using 2-4 Advil daily to manage the unbearable pain. Range of motion was also down to 40%.
