Cervical Spine Pain Relief with WHITEE Patches
Patient presented himself with symptoms of left arm/elbow/forearm/hand tingling and loss of grip strength. The pain and numbness increased at night. Initial diagnosis: Thoracic Outlet Syndrome with Scalene Entrapment. After 3 acupuncture treatments the patient made minimal improvements. Male, 51yrs. May 2013 MRI of the C/S revealed Discogenic disease of the C/S, particularly at C5-6 and C6-7. At C6-7, there is a 3 mm left paracentric broad-based disc bulge extending into the left neural foramen. With the new diagnosis, WHITEE patches were prescribed over the affected C/S region. The protocol consisted of 3 consecutive WHITEE patches (2 days on, one day off, etc.) followed by 1 acupuncture treatment. After 2 rounds of treatment, the patient was 75% improved. One more round of treatment with WHITEE patches and acupuncture was administered, resulting in complete relief of signs and symptoms, and the patient was released from active care.
