Neurontin-Free Recovery After Twenty-four Years of Neuropathy
A male, age 48, had the chief complaint of severe, unrelenting pain throughout his body for 24 years, with no tangible relief from prior treatments or drugs prescribed by M.D. The medical assessment was Peripheral Neuropathy. At the time of our work, the client was taking 3600 mg. of Neurontin daily. His daily life was severely restricted due to pain.

After taking a thorough case history including health questionnaire and environmental risk assessment, the client was asked to make some simple dietary changes. Within 2 weeks of implementation, he experienced a dramatic reduction in pain, which he described as 50% improvement. At this time he was also given a specific nutriceutical protocol which reflected my assessment of mercury toxicity and leaky gut syndrome. Four months into the healing process, the patient was feeling well enough to consider a major career change, something he had wanted to do for some time but had lacked the confidence to implement. He now felt that the pain was reduced by 80%, and he had even had several days of no pain whatsoever. He had also, of his own volition and with his M.D.s permission, begun to reduce his medication considerably. However, he had yet to follow through on my referral to consult a biological dentist.

Because he felt so much relief from the dietary changes and supplemental regime reducing his symptoms, he vacillated another 4 months about the dentist. Then, seemingly by accident one day while surfing the Internet, he came upon a medical website that allowed him to take tests, describe his symptoms, and get a quick response from the M.D. associated with the website: You have mercury poisoning and should see a dentist schooled in proper removal. Significantly, the website gave him the same names of dentists I had given to him, and these were not local dentists but specialists located in another part of the country.

Feeling liberated and as if he had struck gold, he, without my knowledge or his doctors, took himself off the Neurontin completely. He also finally took steps to have his dental mercury removed. The Vega protocol and other dental tests did reveal significant levels of mercury. With the toxic metal removed, he finally recovered his health completely.
