Successful Treatment of Alcohol Addiction
Treatment of Addiction to cigarettes, alcohol and drugs can be successful with the use of acupuncture and nutrients. Psychological counseling was used in conjunction with the treatment. NADA, the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association, uses the acupuncture protocol of the Lincoln Hospital Addiction Clinic on the Bronx, New York. I trained at the clinic and received a membership in NADA.
Male 50 years old. This man presented himself in my office for treatment of alcohol abuse. The patient would consume 8 mixed drinks of rum and cola every night. The treatment consisted of acupuncture therapy and nutrition.
After six weeks of treatment the patient was able to conduct his daily activities without any alcohol. Additional acupuncture treatment and nutrients were administered to maintain control of the addiction.
