Firstly, thank you for your interest in Chinese Medicine! It is a wonderful way of finding and maintaining health. This deep and rich medicine is fascinating and I am excited to share it with you. The healing capacity of this ancient modality continues to humble me on a daily basis. It truly is very powerful.

I graduated from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in Portland, Oregon in 2004 with a Masters Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. I am nationally and state certified as a Licensed Acupuncturist and Diplomate of Oriental Medicine. The Diplomate certification encompasses acupuncture, Chinese herbal therapy, massage, and qi gong. My specialty is 5-Element Acupuncture, which further deepens my approach in this rich medicine.

Seeing the positive changes in peoples health gives me great joy. Whether the results are permanent or temporary, the look of relief on others faces is always heart-warming. Poor health and pain can be very frustrating. I see people all of the time that have already been to many practitioners offices before they are in mine. This frequently happens in my field, and many acupuncturists often start with difficult cases. To have positive relief in these situations offers a great sense of hope, especially when the list of options at this point is usually minimal. Since the goal of Chinese Medicine is to get to the root of dis-ease, long-term relief is not uncommon.

My introduction to Chinese Medicine started in college while taking a medical anthropology class. My love for the medicine was born and would forever be a part of me. After college, I moved West and was a wilderness instructor in a therapeutic wilderness program in Utah working with youth at risk. The job was a life-changing experience. Those teenagers taught me that we are all in this life together, and that we work much better as a team. This theme translates easily in approaching health care. I enjoy working with other health care professionals to provide you the best support possible.

I believe in hope and quality of life. Even in chronic illness, there is a way to find wellness. There are many ways to achieve health, I offer it through Chinese Medicine. My goal is to provide an avenue of health that treats disease in a safe and effective way with minimal side effects. After all, life is more enjoyable when we feel good. Be well.
