Dr. Kimberly Allen likes getting to know her patients as individuals, educating and motivating them to participate actively in their own health.

Dr. Allen treats all health conditions and has extensive experience working with thyroid disorders, digestive disorders and mental health issues. She has further training in the use of amino acid therapies to optimize brain function and reduce the incidence of depression, anxiety and attention deficit disorder.

Dr. Allen is also a Licensed Massage Therapist, and specializes in physical medicine including therapeutic ultrasound, myofascial and positional techniques, and craniosacral therapy. She also offers nutrition, lifestyle, and mental health counseling and uses botanical medicine, homeopathy, natural hormones and pharmaceutical drugs as necessary to treat both chronic and acute illnesses.

As a native of Colorado, Dr. Allen spent 30 years living and working in the small mountain town of Buena Vista and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Biology from the University of Northern Colorado. Enthusiasm for minimizing her own pain due to a severe car accident with the use of alternative medicine led Dr. Allen to complete the medical program at Bastyr University in 2004. She loved the beautiful northwest so much she decided to stay after earning her ND and practiced on the Kitsap Peninsula from 2004 to 2014.

In her spare time, Dr. Allen enjoys quilting, knitting, photography and exploring the beautiful outdoors of the Puget Sound.
