Dr Pierce graduated valedictorian from Life Chiropractic College West in 1990. Before chiropractic, Dr. Pierce was a structural engineer working on pipeline and oil tank construction. He found that career unsatisfying and wanted to do something more positive for society and the environment. Having had chiropractic care at age 11 to eliminate his hayfever, it was a natural choice for him.

For the first eight years, Dr Pierce focused on sports injuries, nutrition and rehabilitation. He served as triage director at the Ironman Triathlon in Hawaii and has served many regional and local sports programs. His patients have included prep, college, professional and Olympic athletes.
At the 1995 Endurance Sports Symposium, Dr Pierce delivered the first U.S. presentation on the topic of Adaptogens for Sports Performance Enhancement. Now adaptogenic herbs are widely used in numerous facets of health care.
Looking for greater challenges, Dr Pierce devoted himself to numerous seminars and conferences to master wellness care. For 15 years he has studied through the Institute for Functional Medicine, the Brimhall Wellness Seminars and other top wellness institutions. He consults with other top wellness providers and teaches workshops for wellness care.
Dr Pierce feels that education, state-of-the-art knowledge and experience create the backbone of an outstanding practitioner. He believes in keen, personal attention in an unhurried environment to nurture a partnership with his patients and he insists on exemplary service.
Because beliefs, attitudes and motivations all play a major role in overall wellness, Dr Pierce examines the whole person: structurally, biochemically, and emotionally. He relies not only on traditional detailed examination, testing and diagnosis; he listens to your story with great intuition. His personal dedication to his wife of 24 years, two teenage children and his own fitness, tennis, basketball and overall well-being reflects in his leadership and stewardship of his patients.
