Successful Whole Body Skin Rash Treatment

Diagnosis: Dermatitis, undiagnosable, whole body skin rash, red, irritated, itchy, and painful
Any impact from MDs side: short term relief using meds and cortisone creams,
Components of Treatment Program: Patient was given an herbal and food regimen; herbal formulas included Chinese herb formula Long Dan Xie Gan Wan (Gentian Combination), and a syrup made by our clinic consisting of herbs such as chickweed, wild yam, marshmallow, and solomon's seal.

Progress made by patient: 80% improvement over 6 months
# of preventative maintenance sessions: Patient required occasional coaching to continue taking herbs
Ultimate result: Marked improvement and decrease of skin rashes
Sustainability: Patient had dietary issues which tended to cause flare ups; patient discontinued herbal therapy which caused return of rashes.
Perception of result by patient: Mixed. Patient did not feel that therapy worked after discontinuing herbs.
Additional info: This is a classic case where the patient needed to eat healthier foods and was unable to do so. The herbs worked well when no medical treatments would help in this undiagnosable, severe condition.
