Natural Relief of Constipation
A 70-year-old female presented with chronic constipation and related symptom issues since childhood. The patient had tried numerous treatments throughout her life with no relief. Her most recent treatment consisted of taking 5 magnesium tablets before bed and 3 doses of psyllium fiber in the morning and at night. This treatment yielded inconsistent bowel movements varying from normal stools, loose stools, sticky stools and hard-like rocks stools.
At the recommendation of Dr. Ted Czepiel, the patient began using the following Wei Laboratories’ formulas: Probiosis, Luna, and PA in May 2018. Probiosis reduces inflammation in the intestines by selectively inhibiting the overgrowth of pathogenic bacteria. Luna helps lubricate the small intestines and supports the enteric nervous system. PA removes inflammation in the small intestine and relieves constipation caused by this inflammation. After 2 weeks of the protocol at full dose, the patient reported having consistent normal-loose stools, occurring 2 to 3 times a day. Additionally, the patient has cut down her dependency on her other supplements and reduced her usage to 3 magnesium pills before bed and 2 doses of psyllium fiber in the morning and at night. The patient also reported fewer cravings between meals. She noted having symptoms of adrenal fatigue, Dr. Czepiel determined it could be due to the removal of toxins from the body, so he suggested adding LC Balancer and Xcel to the protocol to support his kidneys in filtering out waste.
After 6 weeks of the protocol, the patient reported having great relief of her constipation and related issues. Her bowel movements are now regular and she stated this has been the most beneficial solution she has ever tried for her chronic constipation.
