Sustained Improvement on Symptoms due to IPF
A 65-year-old male presented with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis diagnosed in 2017. The patient reported symptoms of shortness of breath, wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, and decreased energy. He lives on a farm and trains horses for a living, but his condition was preventing him from doing things he used to be able to do.

Treatments offered to the patient by his physician included an inhaler that helped him breath better but could not provide a sustained and lasting improvement of symptoms. His physician indicated this was a progressive disease which would eventually lead to the need for supplemental oxygen with a life expectancy of three to five years. His symptoms continued to worsen while on this treatment plan and he felt the need to look for other solutions.

The patient began using the Wei Laboratories Soup A, Soup B, and LC Balancer in early April 2018. Soup A helps increase the availability of necessary nutrients and cofactors in the lungs for tissue repair, Soup B helps break down the scar tissue associated with COPD and LC Balancer helps improve the microcapillary structure for diffusion of gases and improves the delivery of nutrients to individual alveoli. After beginning on the protocol at full dose, the patient noticed a significant increase in body aches and general soreness. Dr. Czepiel determined these body aches and soreness were occurring in areas of inflammation from old or current injuries. In addition, the doctor suspected the effects were due to the ability of the LC Balancer to improve microcirculation and delivery of nutrients. The patient was encouraged to continue the protocol and could expect these symptoms to subside within several days. He continued the protocol as recommended and the body aches and soreness subsided.

The patient reported a 75% improvement in his breathing symptoms after taking the products at full dose for 9 weeks. He reported having twice the energy and was able to resume his daily workouts, which had become extremely burdensome and had to be shortened before beginning the wellness recommendation. Previously, he could work out for 10 minutes before needing to stop due to his condition but is now able to work out for 20-25 minutes every morning. Additionally, he uses a Fitbit to monitor his daily movements and on an average day before beginning the wellness recommendation resulted in 8,000 to 9,500 steps. He reported he now gets at least 21,000 steps every day. The patient stated he still gets short of breath when climbing stairs or walking uphill but is able to recover significantly quicker than before. He was able to reduce his inhaler usage from once per day to about once every other day. His physician retested his pulmonary function and noted a 21% improvement from his last measurement which was at the end of 2017. The patient is doing no other therapies during this time and credits his improvement to the herbal formulas he is taking. He is continuing treatment to see even greater results.
