Successful Treatment for Pulmonary Hypertension/FMS
A 74 year of female came to me with the diagnosis of Pulmonary Hypertension, Fibromyalgia, and Arthritis. Patient also suffered a stroke while in the hospital after back surgery. Patient presented with fatigue, body pain and stiffness in muscles and joints, SOB, dizziness, swelling of the feet. Patient is on O2 and a CPAP. Patient walks with a walker. I was treating this patient with Acupuncture with results of less pain and less SOB but patient was still on O2, until the patient suffered a stroke. Once she was able to continue her acupuncture treatments, I also added an herbal intake formula. Patient comes to me for acupuncture 1x monthly and takes the herbal intake formula. She is no longer on O2, she no longer is on her CPAP, and she exercises daily walking on the treadmill and lifts light weights. Her FMS pain is gone and her joint stiffness is gone. She is also now able to do her ADLs with no trouble.
